Hope of Life Community Centre
Empowering Myanmar migrants and vulnerable communities in Northern Thailand through education, skills, entrepreneurship, well-being and inclusive economic opportunities.
Who We Are
Hope of Life Community Centre was established in response to the changing realities faced by Myanmar migrants and vulnerable host communities in Northern Thailand. As displacement becomes a long-term development challenge, we create pathways that go beyond immediate assistance — towards education, skills, employment, entrepreneurship, well-being and community resilience.
We see people not only through the challenges they face, but through the knowledge, skills, creativity and aspirations they bring to their communities.

Our Six Programme Pillars
Each pillar strengthens the others, supporting people through different stages of life — from learning, to work, to leadership.
01
Skills, entrepreneurship, income generation and market access for women-led businesses.
02
Vocational skills, employability, career development, industry partnerships and job matching.
03
Entrepreneurship training, an innovation lab, digital skills, start-up support and incubation.
04
Academic preparation, English, digital literacy, career guidance and scholarship pathways.
05
Psychosocial support, peer networks, well-being activities and youth development.
06
Community organisations, employers, universities, NGOs, authorities and international partners.

Our Social Enterprise Model
We are not funded by grants alone. Our café, catering, marketplace, training academy and venue services generate revenue that is reinvested directly into community programmes — while doubling as real workplaces where trainees learn.

Every figure represents a person building a livelihood, a family with more security, and a community with more capacity.
